Basketball in the Community
Established in 2009, Basketball in the Community (BBITC) is a club for everyone based in Norwich, Norfolk. We deliver basketball to over 200 members a week from ages 6 to 60+, with over 12 teams competing in a range of competitions.
Our aim is to increase the provision and participation of youth and adult basketball throughout Norwich and Norfolk. We welcome and engage all players, regardless of age, ability, ethnicity, religion, or gender, and we promote an environment where every player is encouraged to reach their own ‘next level’ and fulfil their potential. We provide opportunities for everyone to improve their basketball and leadership skills, whether participating for enjoyment or to compete at a high level.
Whether you are an established player, or would like to try a new sport, we would love for you to join our club and welcome new members all year round.

We have four teams competing in the 2023/24 Junior NBL, offering opportunities for both boys and girls.

Junior Basketball
We offer a range of community basketball sessions for children aged 6-18.

Women's Basketball
We run weekly sessions for ladies of all ages, whether you are an experienced player or want to try a new sport.

We run weekly sessions for Men with the option to compete in the Norfolk Basketball League.

Academy Basketball
From Sept 2023, we have partnered with the Inspiration Trust to allow players to continue their basketball development alongside their education (16-19).
